a marquise story
classic marquise solitaire engagement 14k white gold ring with a bow under the setting. repurposed family diamond.

redesigned 45th anniversary ring has been passed on and on and on …
instead of duplicating the ring we captured the essence the original piece using the diamonds where needed, replacing the rubies with new ones and – the extra special feature – we found a way to incorporate her original wedding band.
cluster ring to shiny pendant
what the shop has been doing is converting ring tops into pendants with chains. since she is not wearing rings these days, we repurposed an old cluster ring into a necklace.
charm bracelet to charming pendant
she was the recipient of the family kitschy jewelry. the oversized gold charms with rubies, sapphires, emeralds and pearls big enough to wear each as a pendant. they don’t make charms like this anymore – intricate and handmade with moving parts.
gold band made from three beloved rings includes engraving
each of three rings meant so much to her. knowing what was important, we saved the engraving in her dad’s wedding band, used her original engagement and original wedding band.
interchangeable bead ring to permanent marquise
there seems to be a trend where one reaches a certain age and realizes you have jewelry one is not wearing because tastes change as do needs and wants. this combination fabrication results in a ring she wants to wear now.
ring from pendant
from one necklace to another
necklace redesigned to bracelet and slide-style pendant. repurposed old jewelry into something she loves.

And a lovely necklace. It is such a special piece and really connects my mother, myself and my daughter whenever she wears it, which is all the time! Thank you. It was a wonderful experience working with you!

Wow!!! Just wow!!! Received the necklace yesterday and I am beyond thrilled. The diamonds were dazzling before but placed together as they are now and they’re down right brilliant!! Thank you so much. Now I can wear this necklace to match the solitaire studs my husband got me when we first started dating. I now have an amazing set from two of the most important men in my life. I can’t thank you enough for your amazing work. I’ll be a repeat customer for sure.

The necklace was a smash hit, as expected, and my wife wears it everyday. I want to extend my deepest thanks to you for your work on this project as well as your continued assistance throughout the process. It was a wonderful experience all around. I look forward to working with you again. Thank you!

Everywhere I go, from New Haven to Farmington to Israel to Turkey to Aruba my necklace is met with oohs and aahs. I find myself smiling and putting my hand to my necklace each time someone makes a comment. You truly captured the essence of its meaning by giving life to my mom’s diamond, and for that I thank you.

Life is very interesting sometimes. I went to get my hair cut today and a friend was so happy and excited about her “new” ring she couldn’t contain herself! As soon as she told me about her jeweler in Avon – I knew it was you! You made a special lady very happy. Of course I was wearing my Raime wedding band and my “new” necklace – always happy to share my story about my three rings. It was fun to share our Raimie jewelry stories. Six degrees of separation!
