in this strange and curious piece the heart is actually an urn for ashes of a loved one. the diamond dangles represent tears and engraved by hand in script is “my dear, forever in my heart, forever in my soul”
we did this in 14kyellow gold with a triple chain. the customer originally wanted butterflies engraved where the sentiment is. the front of the heart is rolled back, hard to see in the actual piece but visible in the sketch.
one of the stranger requests i have ever done. goes to show just how much jewelry reflects our sentiments!
