Diamonds for a Texan Firecracker and her Granddaughters

Remember the high-spirited Texan and her Boston firefighter? I was overjoyed to see this couple again, this time to work with them creating two beautiful necklaces using diamonds from the tennis bracelet that their wedding bands had been created with. I have known this client going on for decades and good thing she’s with a fireman because she is one firecracker! She knows what she likes, she’s very definitive and charming as all get out so she charged me with the task of creating two necklaces: one for each of her granddaughters, still living in Texas, for important life events. We did this all remotely as she and her fireman are happily married and living in Florida. My first step was to unset the rest of the diamonds from the tennis bracelet and then to figure out a suitable design and pattern for her granddaughters. We settled upon clustered stations in white gold with a white gold faceted cable link chain. We decided to cluster the diamonds in groups of three to span equally along the chain’s length. As soon as the photos hit her inbox she was ecstatic with an instant, “Yes!” The project was complete! The diamonds from the bracelet are officially all spoken for. And now we’ve got ourselves happy campers all around.

  • Materials: Round full-cut diamonds set in14 karat white gold
  • Client location: Texas and Florida
  • Words from my client: OMG. I just opened the package and the necklaces are stunning!! I love love them!  My granddaughters will be thrilled with them. You did an amazing job. I cannot thank you enough. You’re the absolute best. Love ya girl!!  Thank you, thank you ????
