I found Raimie via Google & she was able to put a bezel setting around an old mine diamond solitaire so the edges would be secured from chipping…using most of the original setting! There aren’t enough words to say how thoughtful & caring she is – she really listened to what I wanted & didn’t push me to get a completely new setting…and the work is beautiful! Wow!! Wow, wow, wow!!! This is what I originally envisioned. I was so disappointed that we had to leave the settings as is, but I was disappointed for nothing. The settings don’t even appear stretched anymore. The top and bottom bands tie the design together and it no longer appears unfinished to me. The ring fits comfortably – not tight and not too loose.
