This client is a special one. Not only have I had the privilege and pleasure of designing and repurposing many items from her collection but I’m also lucky enough to call her a friend through the years. She had these diamond halo earrings made a good while back when her lifestyle was a bit different. While she loved the earrings then, styles have changed and the design of these felt too busy now. Plus, they didn’t sit comfortably on her earlobes. We decided it was time to simplify to something cleaner and more timeless. We reset the center diamonds into 14k white gold Martini-style bezel pierced posts with safety backings. Now all you can see is this beautiful sparkle that sit perfectly in place on her earlobes. A gorgeous makeunder that proves that sometimes less is more.
