This special project was for a longtime client of mine. She came into the studio with a rarely worn necklace that was gifted from her great aunt. She had a unique idea – to combine this necklace with her charm bracelet which was filled with countless memories from travels and important events. The challenge here was to attach to the bracelet while keeping the integrity of the necklace. The necklace is constructed with a series of long decorative links joined by gold beads that are “pigtailed” to the next link. The best way to balance the bulk of the bracket was to double the chain. the bracelet’s clasp was removed and the necklace was taken apart, making it two pieces. Next it was reconstructed to attach to the bracelet as well as attach to the spring ring clasp. The finished design was so fun and funky. A one of a kind way to show off some of life’s greatest moments.
