this ring was made for my cousin – both he and she are seriously stylish! like many of us of a certain age, they found they didn’t need as much, and styles have changed-so some items were no longer being worn. during down sizing, right sizing, we took all the diamonds out of rings, earrings and other jewelry pieces no longer being worn.
the diamonds were from family members on both sides of the family, and i was charged with designing something using all of the stones. she wanted something she could wear all the time. he wanted something she could also wear to black tie events. i wanted something contemporary yet timeless, and i kept thinking of the waves of life.
all of the stones were set into a 14k white gold wavy ring, with one yellow gold wave accent. the diamonds are various sizes, also known as milage, are pave set.
i love the undulating of this ring, keeps it from being still.
a statement and signature ring with 38 diamonds for approximately 1.75 carats total weight, 14k yellow and 14k white gold.
