little change for big impact

Life is very interesting sometimes. I went to get my hair cut today and a friend was so happy and excited about her “new” ring she couldn’t contain herself! As soon as she told me about her jeweler in Avon – I knew it was you! You made a special lady very happy. Of course I was wearing my Raime wedding band and my “new” necklace – always happy to share my story about my three rings. It was fun to share our Raimie jewelry stories. Six degrees of separation!

I found Raimie via Google & she was able to put a bezel setting around an old mine diamond solitaire so the edges would be secured from chipping…using most of the original setting! I love the pendant with these old Czech garnets – they look like little blood drops. It is one of my talismans – just like the ring you made for me it bears a family amulet… Looking forward to seeing the next design!

Wow!! Wow, wow, wow!!! This is what I originally envisioned. I was so disappointed that we had to leave the settings as is, but I was disappointed for nothing. The settings don’t even appear stretched anymore. The top and bottom bands tie the design together and it no longer appears unfinished to me. The ring fits comfortably – not tight and not too loose.
