This sweet necklace was made for my sister to give as a gift for the daughter of a colleague, a recent college graduate. The inspiration was an initial necklace worn by one of the characters on the new Sex and the City series.
We needed to make it special, so rather than using a block style capital letter, we chose a lower case. And the “a” is just so design-wise perfect. To add to the visual interest, the initial is inserted into the chain just a bit off center. The chain is fine enough that it disappears allowing the “a” to be center stage!
